What is the best analytics to use for a website?

asked Oct 11, 2013 in ICT Services by tzanswers Guru (87,750 points)
I would like to know what matrices companies and ad agencies use when looking to advertise on one's website.

Do they worry about hits, page views, visitors, unique visitors? What specific information are they looking for to judge whether my website meets their demographics?

Google Analytics is what you want to use

the analytics agencies look for really depends

the most key metric today tends to be Unique Visitors or UV's as this is the roughly accurate number of individual people are visiting  your site

the hits and visits just servers to complement that to give a rough idea how often people visit your site and for how long for - visits and hits however could be from the same people where as UV is exactly as it states

Totally agree and the good thing about Google Analytics is that you can get started knowing absolutely nothing about analytics!

Totally recommend Google Analytics
