Importing them guarantees that you are getting exactly what you want against a replica. If you are buying local, make sure you buy from a reputable reseller which might see prices going up handsomely.

I once had a quick survey of buying parts local to built a PC. A lot of shops l walked into had sales pple whole cannot different between a intel vs amd processor. Selling parts for computers especially gaming ones is all about passion. Passion builds one's knowledge and drive desire to help.

What l saw is a lot of local suppliers who can afford to buy a ticket to China, get the cheapest clones they can get and try to flog them at eye watering prices. They are  into the business because they believe or want to make money.

In another part of the world, l build my own PCs, even though lm well experienced, l stil enjoy going into a local seller, show them my list and share knowledge and advice. Sometimes l believe l will be right about combinations os parts but then shown even a  better combination build.
