You just need to use iPhone Data Recovery to help you do that. It cab be very easy. It can recover data like contacts, photos, text messages, notes, whatsapp chat history with a few clicks.

When you "delete" some data from your iPhone device, they don't actually get deleted/lost . Instead, they were marked for deletion, but in fact, they were hidden on iPhone internal memory. When you add new data ,they are truly deleted.

If you have the lastest version of whatsapp for android or iOS then you should be able to recover your messages from back up. I can only give you iOS hints as its the one I am using.

1. Reinstall whatsapp
2. Open whatsapp and go to settings
3. Click Chat Settings and restore.

It will restore the last backed up file which will have conversations and media.

as long as the msgstore.db.crypt file has not been deleted you will be able to restore your old messages. Just after verifying your number, you will be told that a backup has been found and given the choice to either restore or not

When you deactivated WhatsApp account on your iPhone, actually, the chat history is not deleted if you have backups on iCloud. You can recover chat history from iCloud by the following steps: first verify that an iCloud backup exists in WhatsApp Settings > Chats and Calls > Chat Backup. If you can see when the last backup was performed, delete and reinstall the app from the App Store. After verifying your phone number, follow the on-screen prompts to restore your chat history. The same iCloud backup requirements apply for iCloud restore. In addition, the phone number used for backing up and restoring must be the same. You cannot restore the chat history from another WhatsApp account. If you share an iCloud account, this will allow you to keep your backups separate.
If you don't want to take so much time to do the recovery job, one click to do all the job would be a perfect way. Check  the iMyfone iPhone Data Recovery tool which could make  WhatApp history recovery much easier. Just follow the steps, you can do the work by only several clicks.http://www.imyfone.com/iphone-data-recovery/

Two ways:
1.
Before attempting to restore messages
Current chat history will be lost upon restoration.
There are only up to 7 days worth of backup files.
Any new messages sent/received after a backup, and deleted before the next backup, cannot be restored.
If you run a manual backup, it will overwrite the most recent automatic backup file.
On newer devices, your WhatsApp/Databases folder is most likely located in your device's internal memory.
You must have the same phone number in WhatsApp that you had when you backed up your chats.

Firstly, I wanna know from now on, how many days have you lost your whatsapp messages? Because there are two situation to consider. If it is within 7 days, you can retrieve them by uninstalling and reinstalling whatsapp.
If it is beyond 7 days, you can choose manual restoration. Or more simple and easier, you can choose some professional data recovery softweare. Here is a article describing how to retrieve deleted whatsapp messages with three ways. You can choose one way from it.

If you have previously backed up your iPhone using iTunes or iCloud and are quite sure the lost data is included in the backups, you may be able to retrieve deleted WhatsApp chats by restoring your iPhone from backup.

From iCloud Backup
To recover your chat history from an iCloud backup, first verify that an iCloud backup exists in WhatsApp Settings > Chats > Chat Backup.

From iTunes Backup
1. Open iTunes. First go to Edit > Settings > Devices to disable automatic syncing.
2. Connect your iPhone to computer. Wait for a while, right-click your iPhone in the devices list and click “Restore from Backup”.
3. Stay in the backup file contains WhatsApp messages, click “Restore”.
