Apple has lost that innovation spirit with new ipads, it unveiled earlier this week two new tablets, the 9.7″ iPad Air and the smaller 7.9″ iPad mini, starting at $499 and $399, respectively.Besides being thinner, lighter and a bit faster than the prior 4th generation, the iPad Air has nothing really new to offer. what is it that has made apple to loose its innovation spirit

how is making a device faster and yet thinner not innovative? thats the pinnacle of technologies going into the palm of your hand and they keep making it thinner, lighter but all the time making it more powerful

i'd argue that there products are less revolutionary than they were when the iphone and ipad was originally produced, but theres only so many "new" ideas out there and not many of them are game changing - apple's been pretty good at getting those ones though
