Does anybody know what the official take on BBM is from the regulator? (well at least on Blackberry devices, in that on android and iOS I don't see much difference between it and WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, WeChat and other instant messaging application).

Can Blackberry devices in Zimbabwe access the app? If not, does POTRAZ have anything to do with it?

Likely they will blocked it. On the legacy BB device you can access BBM if you have BBM v6 + and with the BB 10 device. Both types require WiFi. If you have an Econet line you can't access BBM even via WiFi due to IP blocking

This POTRAZ thing is so unpredictable. We are all still waiting to see its response but it might be obvious that they are going to block it for the reasons only known to them. Who knows?
