Which is the best Linux OS for Laptop?

I do have a plan to install a linux distro on my laptop. Can someone suggest me some good OS that has stable drivers and copes up nicely with laptops?

Ubuntu, Debian or Redhat, others fedora, centos etc are not user friendly for non IT people

Ubuntu is the best followed by Linux Mint, another variant of Ubuntu debian

Pear OS 8 is good for laptops or desktops. This is a mere Mac OS X clone with a linux Kernel. You have the same experience similar to using Mac OS X
