Each time I use it, it would shut down even if I am doing something.
Could that be the power supply problem or it's just a short circuit?

Check that the air vents and fan is not clogged with dust. It might be shutting down due to overheating. Do not use your laptop on blankets, sheets or such material that can distract the free flow of air.
