On good days the CPE connects to the internet after a couple of hours snce boot up. I have tried calling ZOL support several times but to no avail as the guys on the other end of the line have no idea what's going on with my connection.

From the log the error seems to be with Ranging

so it goes on like that aborting after the ranging too long and trying to connect all over again. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You have more than one sector available to you.  Basically your CPE is jumping from sector to sector. Isolate the sector that works best for you and disable the other frequencies under Wimax... scanner settings.

Thanks for your response. The other four frequency channels are disabled already but the problem persits. I only have 2540000 enabled.

have you tried other frequencies to see if there is one more stable than 2540000?

it means ranging failed, there are some possible ways to do:

1: I think maybe the devices is in a FFR area, can you enter  "showphystats" to get more information? the device use CINR R3 instead of R1.

2: enter "filterLog +RNGS+DLCS" to get more information.

Thank you Werner
Where do I enter "shophystats" and the "filterLog+RNGS+DLCS"?
