How can I add a contact on bbm?

I just want to know whether bbm add contacts automatically like whatsapp? If it does not how can I go about it?
In simple words, how can I manage my bbm contacts?

no it doesn't auto add because it is PIN based rather than phone number based. You have to invite a contact via Barcode scanning,via PIN ,email and SMS and thats part of the security/privacy
