I have this modem on a pole above my house. I don't want to reset it because I don't know the configuration settings that I'd have to reenter and honestly don't feel like going up on the roof.
I had the modem installed 18 months ago. It's gateway IP is 10.1.1.254

Yo!Africa can provide the username and password. Out of curiosity is there something in particular you are trying to establish or find out or change?

I'd like to check all of the connection statistics. I own the modem so I feel I should have access to it's firmware. I have written their support an e-mail but they haven't responded. I scoured the internet for the default login and password but they didn't work.

If you can establish who your last mile provider is, i.e. aptics, africom etc. I can possibly help.
Generally the username is changed to installer but thats not set in stone. The password, i am not to sure.

Hmm. I did a tracert and this IP came up: 41.190.38.178 right after my modem IP. It is registered to yonet2 which is YoAfrica. I'm not sure if that is what you were looking for? Or how else I might be able to establish the last mile provider? Thanks for your help!

Yo africa does not own any base stations so when they give you a wimax link they use one of the IAP's that does have base stations.

username = admin
password = admin
these are the default values to gain access into yo cpe. within it is where your isp assigned username and password are slotted for authentication process. however if u just want to gain access into cpe, use the values above

I tried these values previously. YoAfrica! has changed this from default. Thanks though.

I tried these defaults and they do not work with my airspan outdoor wimax cpe. I believe the provider changes the defaults. I would like to look at my signal statistics. Thanks for trying.
