iphone using Africom network

is there anyone who is using an Iphone that connect to the AFRICOM network. i have my iphone and it access CDMA network but the staff at Africom dont have customer care they will tell that if you fone can access econet netwok it doesnt work on our network and they dont even allow me to see the technical person to check if my fone can work on their network.

Which iphone do you have?  The simplest way for you to go about it is to get the africom sim card and try it in your phone.  You will have to snip your sim card tho to try.  Alternatively go to Powertel and ask them if your particular model will work.  If it works on Powertel it will work on africom.
