Well, Africom is CDMA so there's the change of phone technology which means buying a new one, or being lucky enough to swap with someone... But then again you won't want to lose your GSM phone so it really means just buying a new device.
But yeah, major difference is network coverage...otherwise the rates are super good on the Africom side
