I do not know any such methods, but there are ways to make your dongle connect to pc thru ethernet port.

If you want to share connection among other devices then there are routers which can take your dongle and make internet accessible thru it.

i assume you want to share your internet connection with other machines, correct me if i'm wrong. the best way would be to use http://www.connectify.me/ to share your internet connection from your dongle, via wifi or lan. depending on the connectify package you choose you will have a software/ virtual router in no time.
