Strongly suspect this is a configuration problem of the touchpad, or, at worst you may have updated to fault touchpad drivers.
How did this start?
When you say "touchpad pointer suddenly stops untill I start using two fingers instead of one." does that mean after tapping it with two fingers, one finger use is restored?
When did this start? Had you updated any drivers or software on the laptop? has this worked before on the same version of Windows and same drivers?
