most of the email notifications are set from inside email application itself, so to stop them you have to do it from the email not your mobile.

To get a step by step of how to, please provide more details of which email yu ar using that is sending you notifications.

Depends on type of email u use.but in case u use econetmail u can't turn off them notifacations if u turn em on using the *155# command
