Next to the WLAN icon in G306 manual page 5, its written,"WLAN has been connected"-how do i connect to a wireless network?

you need to have wireless network within range, if you dont hav one at home, try the zol hot-spots. Then enable your wireless by scanning from your phone,  you shoul be able to see available wlan and connect, ie you have permission!
