I recently watched a YouTube video on how to host a website from your computer, which was done in 3 easy steps
1) Download and install an HTTP server on your computer 2) Configure your router for port forwarding  to your computer's IPV4 address 3) register to a DNS server (which I used no-ip.com
and this turned out not to work.

I then went on to Test if my http server is working on the LAN ,and as expected worked just fine. I then used an online port listener tool to obtain the status of my router, and it turned out closed. And because of this ,  I am suspecting the problem being with my HG531 v1 router configurations.

My Goal is to be able to type a URL from another device and get to my server via the Internet.

I am also finding it odd my public IP from searching on google "what's my IP" , being different from the WAN IPV4  from my router.

please help , thanks in advance .
