I had the same problem finding Quad A batteries. Ended up getting some from RSA, they were scarce there too. There is a hack/mod certain brands of the rectangular 8v battery ( used for toys etc) actually are just 6 AAAA size batteries in a metal casing. Remove casing disconnect wiring and you have AAAA . ENERGISE, DURACELL... you would have to confirm brand on Google. Hope it helps
