How can i solve "windows was not able to complete format"

Question

Everytime time i inserted my usb flash disk into a computer i get a msg telling mi that i nid to format e disk before using it. when i try formatting it gives an error msg. how can i solve this or is there anyway to recover data stored in the disk .

lm sure its the firmware of the actual USB disk which have been corrupted, check who the manufacture is and try to get the latest firmware for it. Otherwise l dont think you will be able to format it using MicroShaft Windows

I finally got hold of the problem i did not use safe removal after using the flash disk, thus why it was asking me to format e disk e  next time i tried to use it.fortunate enough all the data stored inside was recovered but the flash is no longer usable

try and use windows computer management. Delete the current partition and re-partition it.

Switch to linux! I would recommend LinuxMint or Ubuntu
