its called tethering, the best thing to do is to ask Econet if your tariff allows that

I do not know of any limitations by Econet for tethering or any effect on their tarrifs. I'm not a blackberry fan so I'm not sure if it can do personal hotspot which is the easiest way to access internet on a laptop via most smartphones
