my usb went write protected on its own somehow after a year of use, not accepting read-only reset,how do solve this one?

Does your flash drive have a physical switch for write protect or not? If it has got a switch then it might be a problem with the switch it's self or broken contacts. If it doesn't have one then the firmware might be corrupted and I am yet to find a solution other than replacing the main micro-controller.

your quickest solution generally in this case will be backing up the data and replacing the usb flash drive - flash does have a limited write life cycle which with reasonably heavy use can happen fairly quickly if your not careful
