there is no such things yet....funny i was thinking the same idea too...companies like chickenslice dont have websites yet, they would pay you handsomelyif u were to grab chickenslice.co.zw i am not sure about the legality of the whole thing though....its more or less like blackmail...hahaha, but educated blackmail!!!

if they "own" the brand already, they can probably still get it from you without paying you a cent, but I don't think there's a law enforcing that. Probably just part of the ZISPA terms and conditions http://www.zispa.org.zw/reg_proc.html

yes they can, by registering a trademark. If Chicken Slice has registered it as a company or trademark, they have legal claim to it even in the cyberworld, especially if its a .co.zw domain.

That will be a first Kabweza, maybe in Zim. Remember internet there is no policing. The only way to protect your domain name in most places is register it for long time and make sure you re-register it on time before it expires.

I dont know how it really works here in Zim on that issue.
