What is CCNS?
I would say continue with as stand better of getting a job not only in Zim.
What is your interest in IT? Is it security, networking, voip, storage, website? You need to identify what you like doing and pursue relevant training.

CCNS is Cisco Certified Network Associate Security. My interest is networking, though voip, security, etc are also part of networking. So I was saying whats, better telecommunications or cisco or both?

Ook. Have they changed the name recently? I did it being called ccna-security and lm sure its still the same. Although they sound the same, its not all networking.
I have;
ccna-voice and ccnp voice---Voip
Ccna and ccnp----Networking
Ccna-security----Security
Ccip-Networking mostly Service provider
Ccda and ccdp---Design
I would say get yo cisco done since you are interested in networking that will give high chances of getting a job then do your telecoms.
Ccip is the one to do, they now call it ccnp-sp which is networking in Service Provider or telecoms

If they can only offer ccna then yu are in a bit of twist there. Plus the exam fees cost a lot. I didnt do them here in Zim.
