yes - but you will have to find a means to pay multichoice in SA though - you wont be able to pay for it in Zimbabwe

For the record - i bought my decoders in capetown last year, and registered them in Zim, they work fine (obviously dont get SABC though)

For as long as you have a registered account in any country (location) that is receptive to the DStv signal, your decoder will work just fine. If registered in SA, you will need to make payment to DStv S.A; obviously you will not get the ZBC channel and thanks to recent advancements in Zim's banking options, that shouldn't be a hassle. If you however decide to register your account with DStv Zimbabwe, these guys would need to do some due diligence in de-registering your decoder from S.A; checking whether or not it is stolen property e.t.c. before you can get an account here. Now my experience on that matter is bad to say the least as it took DStv Zimbabwe about 3 weeks (with numerous calls from "this" disgruntled customer to clear my account and get signal. My advice is, if you can pay in S.A and if your decoder is already registered there, stick with it. After all they have better bouquet offerings than Zim DStv.
