Whatsapp push-to-talk service. Is it now available on all platforms?

I jus noticed you can now send audio you record from your fone, voice and sent it as chat. Is this now available on all OS or its jus android?

That function has always been available on all platforms. They have just simplified access to it. Prior you would send audio as an attachment.

Before the PTT functionality you could send an audio note. On iOS the functionality was activated yesterday and you can easily send an audio recording by just pressing the mic button, the speak, and release to send. Quite a neat functionality especially if you are too lazy to type.

For now the feature is on Android and IOS http://blog.whatsapp.com/index.php/2013/08/introducing-voice-messages/. It has always been available but you had to use the attachment button and then record. Now you hold the record button and voila....you send you audio message http://www.whatsapp.com/faq/en/general/25118341

on blackberry u now just press and hold the space bar.This functionality is also used on the wechat app

Its Available for all Platforms but you have to update your whatsapp.
