I'm outside Harare. I got a quote from ZOL. WiMax sseems more cost-effective on paper. How is the user experience. Decent speeds? I still remember the nightmare last year when Econet launched their 3G service. For the most part it was unusable bt looked good on paper. If I go with WiMax am I falling for a similar trap?

At what speeds can I hope to use my VOIP adapter?

Thanks for the website, very useful!

Hi there
The mode of connectivity dosent really matter. Wimax is used in town or where there is a direct line of sight between the receiving radio and the booster Vsat is bused for remote connections where other modes are not available
So if your area is reachable by Wimax, the better becuase the connection is mostly from the same pot!
