i used africom last week and it was not good. The average speed was 15KB/s. So i was wondering was the problem on my modem or africom has just become slow and even slower than powertel

depends how far you are from base station. They have few stations around.
But generally Africom is way faster than powertel all things considered

Its the promotion that's making them slow it can clock around 200KB/S. They didnt anticipate the growth. They just need more base stations.
