My Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000 (7inches screen) dropped onto the ground and hit a small pebble about 2months ago.
It cracked the screen, but the touch screen is still working perfectly and I can still do everything as before. All my Apps work fine.

However I am annoyed by the cracks in the screen as it now appears shabby and the cracks interefer with the display, especially when I view stuff during the day.

Does anyone know anyone who can get me a replacement for this screen?
I have searched locally but have not found one.
Am even willing to hook up with a guy who can import this screen for me from places like Dubai etc.

Thanks all

I went to the Samsung Joina store, and this is what they said, and I quote 'Unfortunately if you didn't purchase your device directly from us there is nothing we can do to assist because your warranty is with another supplier and not us. In addition we do not have the spare parts for the Tab locally,we would have to send it to our suppliers.

this sure looks like a job to be done in Mzansi maybe. I'd check j'burg before sending it to Europe/US

Hie. I wanted to ask a question of my own to you. I assume you have been using your Galaxy Tab in Zimbabwe, I wanted to find out your experience with the tablets in Zim. How has it been? What do you use to connect to the net? Is it Wi-fi or 3G? I just want to get a general idea to see if it would be a good idea to buy one and come with it to Zim. Thanks
